“Maasi’choo for a beautiful place!”

Diana Hayton, Ft. Yukon, Alaska

I really enjoyed the potlatch display. It is really authentic, down to the type of modern blanket that is now used and the kerchiefs, and the various modern life displays on rural Alaska. They felt just like home to me. Like MY entry way and freezer, and the stuff we take out in OUR canoe. It shows real respect for both the past and, more importantly, the Alaskan present.

Linda Weld, Bearfoot Guides/Denali Summer Times

“Living here most of my life, I am well-versed in the lifestyles of Alaska and living in the bush. The work put in to portraying the life here in the dioramas is outstanding. I miss Big. He would love it here. Thank you for bringing him home.”
